Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) are trained by Seva Mandir to care for pregnant women and perform deliveries in areas where there are barriers to reaching hospitals. TBAs live and work in the 152 villages where they work, and delivered care to 5,500 women in the last calendar year. I met and photographed these phenomenal women, telling the stories of the incredible impact they make, to ensure the funding for this programme is continued.
