Working with senior management, front-line staff, and refugees and asylum seekers, I produced three Annual Reports for the Refugee Council. This included writing, editing and taking photographs for the reports, as well as managing the entire process. I have also written multiple funder updates for the Refugee Council.
Since 1951 the British Refugee Council has worked directly with thousands of refugees and asylum seekers every year, supporting them from the moment they arrive in the UK. The Refugee Council provide advice and support with finding a place to live, work and training, specialised services for children who arrive in the UK alone, and mental health services to address the trauma that so many have experienced.
